Aroma:Same fresh, spicy-woody aroma as the powdered spice used in Eastern cuisine, yet even more vibrant and delicious.
Aromatherapy Properties:Relaxing and stimulating, balancing.
History:Well known as a domestic spice worldwide. Turmeric is one of the spices used in Curry, and giving it its strong yellow color. Turmeric is a wonderful addition to meat dishes, and harmonizes very well with many spices and garlic.
Perfumery Note:Base. Blends well with: Turmeric can lend a very distinct softness and roundness to a spicy blend. Great with Ginger, Ylang Ylang, Cistus Labdanum, Clary Sage and spices. Great for oriental/fantasy type aromas.

Possible toxic and irritating effects in large concentration - use sparingly. Keep away from children. Dilute for use on skin. If you are pregnant or have medical problems, consult a doctor. Only use the gentlest oils at low doses with children. Skin patch test recommended. For external use only.

Directions
